Immediately following the children’s sermon, children in grades K-3 are invited to children’s church. During this time basic Bible story videos are shown and lessons from those videos are held along with a short worship time for the children.
*The nursery is available during the worship
service for infants up to Preschool.

Sunday Morning Classes

Sunday School for all ages meets each Sunday from 10:45 a.m. -11:45 a.m. with the exception of
the Early Riser’s Class which meets from 8:15 a.m.-9:15 a.m. The following is a list of the different classes:

PRESCHOOL - KINDERGARTEN

The Beginners Bible study class is taught by Peggy Scott in the Preschool room on the lower level. This class is structured to introduce the youngest of God’s children to His love.

GRADES 1-5

Class is held on the upper level immediately following Children’s Church. Bible verses are read, basic Bible stories reviewed and activity based learning sessions held. Crafts, coloring, and games are interwoven into the Biblical stories.

CONFIRMATION CLASS

The teacher is associate pastor, Jessica Wietzke. This class begins March 7 in the far end of Bigler Hall.

JR-HIGH SCHOOL/SR-HIGH SCHOOL

They are studying topical discussions. This class is being taught by Jeff Overway and Terry True.

EARLY RISER’S CLASS

Meets in the Library from 8:15 a.m.-9:15 a.m. This class is looking into church history and how it relates to today, and some myths in some religions and denominations. The are currently studying the prophecies of Daniel and Revelations and how they relate to current events.The teacher is Chuck Ross.

LECTIONARY CLASS

This class is for any age group and meets in the John Knox Room to study Sunday’s Lectionary Bible passages. The teacher is Rev. Doug Mankell.

DROP-IN CLASS

Taught by Beth and Dave Workman - This class is for any age group and meets in the Community Room next to the nursery.  This class is now studying the Sunday sermons.

CONTEMPORARY CLASS

Taught by Dave and Jo Reinking and meets in the upper level classroom.
