Rev. Dr. Daniel Lute

Pastor

Originally from the rural farming community of Hanna in LaPorte County, Indiana, Rev. Dr. Daniel Lute is the Lead Pastor of Calvary Presbyterian Church in Logansport, Indiana. He married his high school sweetheart, Deb, and together they have two married daughters and five grandchildren. Dr. Lute has pastored churches in Valparaiso, Indiana; Alpena, Michigan; Lake Oswego, Oregon; and Bernville, Pennsylvania. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biblical Studies from Grace College, Winona Lake, IN (cum laud, 1997), a Master of Divinity degree from Trinity Theological Seminary, endorsed by the University of Liverpool, England, (with distinction, 2008), and a Doctorate of Intercultural Studies from Grace Seminary (summa cum laud, 2014) where he then taught as an adjunct professor in the Intercultural Studies/Mission Korean Doctoral program for four years. 

Malissa Lowe

Administrative Assistant

Malissa Lowe has served as Calvary’s secretary since December 2013. A native of Kokomo, Indiana and a graduate of Kokomo High School, she brings with her years of experience in the accounting/administrative area. Malissa and her husband Todd have two children and live in Galveston, IN. They are members of Anoka United Methodist Church.

Carolyn Cassidy

Organist

Carolyn Cassidy has been Calvary's organist since 1975. A member of Calvary Presbyterian Church, she was born in Galveston, Texas. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree from St. Olaf College in Minnesota and a Master of Music degree from Boston University. In addition to her position at Calvary, she is a private music teacher and a free lance musician.
